Thank goodness for timeshifting! One of the CTV affiliates here in Canada will be showing this game "dances"

The only thing is we do a good job at shutting down the run. Except last week, but in general we are tough to run against. So this should be a fun game to watch. If Brett makes big plays we will be tough to beat in this one.

I think Peterson will not reach 100 yards against San Fransisco. Their front 7 is pretty talented, especially their athletic linebackers. Peterson vs. Willis could be pretty epic. Some big collisions are bound to happen.

Gore will struggle to find space against the Vikes front 7. They have been rock solid for years now. I think Gore can be a mismatch in the passing game against that defense. Guys like Henderson and Leber are good against the run, but can't hang with Gore man to man. They'd have to put Greenway on him or call mostly zones. Shaun Hill's decision making will really be put to the test against the NFL's best defensive line. Allen has been cold on sacks so far this season so you KNOW he's chomping at this bit this game to explode.

Both Henderson and Harvin have injuries so they aren't 100% on playing yet. Losing either of them would be a big boost for San Fran... especially Harvin. I think Henderson is more replaceable since the NFL's top DL will keep any linebacker running free behind them.

Should be a close game! It'll be interesting to see which team can generate big plays against these defensive-minded teams.

Can't wait for Sunday.

QFT - one of the best quick breakdowns I've read. I agree with you 100%.

So do the Niners. I'd take AP over Gore and your D over SF's but they're not that far apart on either account. For the Niners this game will be like the NYJ/NE game was for the Jets. They can prove their for real here. I don't know if they will but they've got a good shot.

Thanks! Yep it should be a tight, physical game. I sure hope it is.
