Report: Fred Taylor's season is in danger

dam. he was doing good for us. i really dont think Laurence Maroney will step up and be the running back we need. i really hope Fred Taylor can play at this season still and we should really think about drafting a RB in the daft next year

luckily the Pats have 4 other backs to fill in. Taylor has more talent than the other 4 but I think they will be fine.

Adam Shefter reports in the video of that link that it will NOT end his season. He goes on to say that he will not play on Sunday against the Broncos. He will be out indefinitely for the time being.

I think people hear "out indefinitely" and think "season ending"... same with when a player is suspended "indefinitely". It just means nobody knows how long yet.

This wasn't to the OP, I heard the same report on ESPN (that his season was over). I wish they'd just hear "indefinitely" and say "we'll tell you more when we know it".

Another injury for Fred Taylor. I wonder where he'd be statistically without all the down time.
