Can't really mark his downfall if he's doing this at the pleasure of the owner. Bud Adams apparently wants Young in there so he got his wish. BTW how old is Adams? Seems he's been around FOREVER.

Let's put some context to this ok? He was a few inches short of a Super Bowl one year and the other years when the Titans went to the playoffs they were stymied by better, elite teams like the Ravens and Colts. It's not like they were losing to chump teams.

You people all clamoring for Fisher's head are going to really regret this when he's done and the next head coach is some boob who'll do far worse in the long term.

As for Young....Well maybe something good will happen for him for once but i'm not holding my breath.

The Colts seem to be doing pretty good without Dungy, the Steelers didn't miss a beat when Cowher left, and I'm sure the Broncos are really missing Shanahan about right now. Fisher wasn't as good as any of those 3 coaches... not really sure why he's going to be so difficult to replace.

And here's another thing... if the new coach starts next season 1-5, he's still doing better than his predecessor. The bar is pretty low right now in Tennessee --- there's a lot of coaches out there who could do a better job in getting this team motivated to play than Fisher.

On another note, it's really amusing to see that Fisher's career is now in VY's hands. That's gotta be nerve wracking.
