Raiders @ Steelers

Surprisingly good game thus far. Note to refs'- you can temporarily take a break from giving Pittsburgh their obligatory phantom calls. The raiders offense will go backwards on its own.

Lol at the obvious fair catch interference and the no call.

Re: Raiders @ Steelers

Raiders have had their fair share of crappy calls as well. It's amazing to me how some keep harping that the Steelers get every call when that couldn't be further from the truth. If it was true, they'd have a much better record than they do. With that said, at least the refs finally saw James Harrison getting held constantly and called a few of them today.

As for the game, suspect play calling again by the Steelers offense. Ben hasn't been very sharp either. Also way too many chances inside the redzone where the Steelers came away empty or only got a FG. I expect a loss this week. I think the only playoff team coming out of the AFC North should be the Bengals. The Steelers, Ravens and Browns don't deserve it...and if any make it...they'll be knocked out quickly.

Raiders take the lead, 13-10. Great play from Gradkowski to Chaz.

Sweet 13-10 Oakland. Why does this feel like 2006 all over again? Lost to Oakland that year as well... I'm starting to think hoping for a better draft pick is the way to go this season.

Disagree about the not deserving part. Ravens have the leagues hardest schedule and have zero embarrassing loses on the year, while the only teams they have lost to are the ones which are playoff contenders. And with those loses, they have been in EVERY game up until late in the fourth quarter. Conversely the Steelers lost to the Chiefs and are a couple of minutes away from laying an egg against the Raiders. While I agree they might not go far, if the Ravens make it in they deservei t.

Re: Raiders @ Steelers

Ahhh, the power of negative thinking. 2 plays and the Steelers take back the lead. 17-13.
