Chris Johnson should win MVP

1. Drew Brees
2. Chris Johnson
3. Brett Favre

All three of those guys deserve to win the award. If you took each of them away from their teams, they'd have a hard time making the playoffs (heck, the Titans might be 0-13 w/o CJ). In order for Chris to win it, 1 of 2 things would have to happen: A) Titans make the playoffs or B) CJ breaks 2000 yds rushing. If either of those happen, I think CJ would win MVP.

Re: Chris Johnson should win MVP

CJ wont get the MVP unless his team makes the playoffs. Most Valuable Players don't play for a 8-8, 9-7 team.

Peyton Manning is the MVP as far as I'm concerned. Best QB to ever play the game and his team is 14-0. A MVP makes the players around them better. Believe it or not Manning doesn't have amazing weapons around him.

Peyton Manning hands down regardless of what CJ does.

However, I would like to see CJ break the record.

Re: Chris Johnson should win MVP

Being the starting QB for a 16-0 team > 2000 Yd rusher.

Even if any or even all of those 3 happen, he will not win MVP.

Oh and SMH @ the OP not even having Manning on his list but im not surprised in the least bit.

Re: Chris Johnson should win MVP

lol...Are people just so used to Peyton being awesome that he now gets left out of these discussions? .

Jokes aside, I don't completely disagree about Johnson, but I think in order for him to actually win it, he'll have to do at least both "A" AND "B."

If you give it to an RB give it to MJD, TDs are more important than yards.

Peyton is your MVP. I ain't CJ, as much as I'd like to see him break 2000, he isn't touching Manning.

Vince Young is more valuable to his team than Chris Johnson.

Chris Johnson won't even finish in the top 3.
