Thats not it at all, Pee Wee was masturbating in a Porno movie Theater. The Stigma was that a Actor for Children was doing something very wrong.

That incident was in 1991, what I'm talking about happened in 2002 and was somehow connected to Jeffery Jones (principal from Ferris Bueller who pled guilty to paying a 14 year old boy to pose in nude photos for him).

Lets not forget the DA needs to prove the models in the pictures/videos were not 18 years old. If we are talking about the "accidental 17 year old" proving it could be damn near impossible in many circumstances. So as such I'd conclude these are pictures that are clearly children and given his celebrity they have him dead to rights.

Now here would be one possible (albeit disturbing) defense, the pictures were not of children but of adults and the pictures were photoshopped to make them appear younger. According to the SCOTUS, those pictures are not child pornography. One other defense I would try, depending on the age of consent laws in the jurisdiction argue that if the child was above the age of consent to have sex, they were of the age to consent to having their picture taken while doing so and the law is unconstitutional for that reason. I doubt it would work, but worth a shot.

Obviously they don't want to revel too much about how they track down and confirm child pornography but I wonder about the "Cyber" types of these crimes. Wouldn't the police have to know of the existance of a site with child pornography to follow user of that site for arrest? And if that's the case why aren't they doing more to "stop" the site?

This is terrible news if it's true, but as others in the thread have pointed out - it's very possible to get a "child porn" charge thrown at you for looking at 16 year olds.

If he's really diddling himself while watching kids then there's no doubt about it that he needs to go to jail for a long time.
