i have madden 2003 for ps2 and i would like to get updated rosters. now some people tell me that there is a n update at ea already that is accurate as of august 8th and i would even sign up for the online if i had to but can't even figure out how to do that. maybe im dumb?

i have a sharkport so i can download the rosters.

i have heard that ea will have a full roster update after the adapter comes out.

Glad to see this as a topic cause i had a question about this. So to download any kind of updated rosters or anything like that for madden and 2k3 once the network adaptor comes out you HAVE TO HAVE A GAMESHARK RIGHT? NO GAMESHARK NO UPDATES? is this correct. Dont have a gameshark just tryin to basically understand if i should get one or not.

No, you do not need a Gameshark ever. You're thinking of the Sharkport. Once you are able to go online, and download EA's roster updates, it goes to your memory card. Now, for people like me, who don't have the network adapter, the Sharkport is necessary. It's necessary for someone that wants to be a good samaritan and send the roster file to us as well.

So basically if i want the roster updates i can get them for free since i plan on gettin the network adaptor and a sharkport would be a waste of money if i plan on usin the sharkport for this reason? You should check out pages 2-5 i remember seein somone had a file up for sharkport owners the other day

It's not the EA update.
