No, the controls are easy. I never played an NFL2K game until last year, when I was at a buddies house him and another guy there were like we're so good at this game we'll rock anyone with our vikings. I had never played NFL2K whatsoever, only Madden, but I was like ok i'll take yall on. Right off the bat, Jags vs Vikings, I was up 35-7 at the end of 3 and they gave up.
It's really quite easy, at least that was my experience on Dreamcast.
