Re: Sidney Rice could miss half of Season!
brett favre did not make sidney rice. what favre did do is allow the vikes to open up the offense and favre was smart enough to realize that rice was their best playmaker while the ball was in the air.
they wont just roll on without him because noone else on the roster can duplicate what he gave them. with harvin, berrian, shianco along with the newly acquired camarillo they have enough targets and versatility to still be very good, but who becomes favre's go to guy. rice not being there does bring up the question of what direction the offense will go.
the 2 out of 3 doctors was one report, there was another that said multiple doctors and the team said it would be fine with rehabilitation. they made the latter decision and it seemed to be working fine until he hit a wall and was still experiencing pain on certain movements. they made the wrong call, for whatever reason.
javon walker did say he underwent an experimental new surgery in israel that has him revitalized, but he is 31 and hasnt played more than 8 games the past 3 years. greg lewis does know the offense having played in it his entire career and he had the gw td catch against san fran last year, but his career year is 561 yards and id be shocked if he reached that total this year or even close to it. if he does then youre psychic.
