Pittsburgh @ Tennessee

Pittsburgh comes in without Big Ben for this one. I Like the Titans in this one but, I won't be surprised if the Steelers try to give us a run for our money, 17-6 Titans.

Definitely going to be a good game. I got the Titans in this one though.

Bad matchup for the Titans. Our offense tends to struggle against 3-4 defenses. I could see CJ's 100 yards/game streaking ending here. It certainly helps that the Titans are at home, but I think the Steelers squeeze this one out (just like last year).

Steelers - 13
Titans - 9

Yeah I can see it too. Troy is going to be flying around out there.

Re: Pittsburgh @ Tennessee

I think Steeler points may hinge on a few plays by Dixon. If he gives a 200 yard game with an INT, I could see Pittsburgh at least in it. If Tennessee scores early and the Steelers can't focus on running the ball and playing tough D, Tennessee could choke them out with a double digit lead fairly easily in my opinion.

The Steelers will need some impact plays on D to get it done... even moreso than usual. I believe the Titans are known for their reluctance to blitz. I'll be interested to see if that helps or hurts the current Steeler situation on offense. I guess it'll boil down to the standard "can the front 4 get pressure" argument. Will Dixon's legs allow him to extend the play against a 4 man rush of bigger, slower defensive linemen?

We'll see!

Re: Pittsburgh @ Tennessee

Steelers will have to put on an awesome defensive performance, because you know we're not going to score much. It will be tough to run the ball for either side, we did a decent job holding CJ last year, didn't let him take over the game. This is one you reallllllly need Ben Roethlisberger for.

I'm kind of curious to see if Dixon tries to "out-run" VY in this game. Since he didn't do any running last game. I heard a few of the local talk shows on about "Why is Dixon in there if he isn't going to run? We could just put Batch in there if we wanted the same performance." and that's actually a decent point. He made the difference against Baltimore last year with his big run at the end of the game.
