He was never good. Just a bruiser back who needed a good push from the line to do anything at all. How long do these "big" backs really stay effective in this day and age? Not long if they don't have elite speed/agility/vision for a guy their size. And Jacobs certainly doesn't have that. He wouldn't be hard to replace.

I didn't realize what a scene he made on Sunday night, throwing his helmet into the stands. Most teams would probably just outright release him for embarrassing the team like that.

Meh, the guy was never going to last in the league with his build and he was never anything great to begin with. As the announcers put it perfectly in the game he's far too big and because of this defenders will always have an open, easy shot at his body, especially his knees because at 6'4" it's nearly impossible to get below the pad level of a tackler.

Good to see he was so happy to take the big payday and THEN be upset about everything Giants football related.

Jacobs has always been a bum ever since he got his contract. He just talks his bum 270 pound *** to death and gets demolished on the field but oh dont worry, he makes 2-3 highlight trucks for +3 yards every year. Bum.

wow. I didnt see this coming. But to tell you the truth, he's replaceable.

You'd think he'd be a sure thing in short yardage situations...... he's not.

Not enough explosiveness, and vision.
