Well there's a difference between learning the game and playing fundamental football.

I feel the same way about Madden. I have yet to punt. I just go for it on 4th. Also I lead the league in Rec with the Raiders TE (WHAT)

Not saying that 2k3 is better but I have gotten to know my punter very well.

lol, me and my punter are best friends too, hes been winning games for me, feild position is so important in NFL 2k3, This is the first game that I actually cared about feild position so carefully.

Hey bobby I kind of know what you mean.
I have been having some good success with Zones in 2k3.
I have noticed that some defenders will actually bump the WR as he is going across his zone.
I remember them commenting on this last year in when the Patriots where throwing the Raiders wide outs around (same thing the dolphins did)

I have been having success using 2 hard against runs to the outside (warning you will get killed if they flood a side or the WR go deep)

I feel NFL 2k3 is slanted heavily toward user reflexes and not so much on football. I'm not a very quick gamer. I don't juke much, I don't like power ups just because I end up pressing the wrong buttons usually resulting in some sort of weird lateral, INT sack all in one.

That is why I love the 2k series! You hike the ball, make a little sidestep to avoid the rush, let up on the joystick, hit the WR button just right for the type of pass you want, move the joystick to lead the WR while the QB is in his throwing motion, switch to the WR, speed burst to the ball, hit the catch button, and then begin juking, spinning, jumping, etc. I feel like I am in CONTROL. Requires concentration and lots of practice on your part.

I love it.
