U kno what makes me sick. Someone from the nfc west will be getting a home playoff game. Smh @ a 7-9 team gettting a home playoff game

Yup and that there is a scenario that could happen where a team with a great record ends up being 1 game out of the #1 seed and is stuck with going on the road in the wild card

Happened in 2008 with the Colts. Finished 12-4, but was 1 game out of winning the division and taking the #1 seed. Ended up with the 5th seed and lost to an 8-8 Charger team on the road in overtime. Although I think that Charger team was better than their record, it's still ridiculous that a 12 win team has to travel to play an 8 win team. I can't complain though. This is the best Playoff system in sports, maybe 2nd behind NCAAB.
