First I'll say that anything either has done prior to this year is irrelevant unless I'm misunderstanding the OP, so that stuff shouldn't even come into the discussion.

With that said, unless something drastically changes the last couple of weeks, Brady is the MVP so that should answer the question. Vick is the perfect person for the type of WRs DJax and Maclin are, as well as McCoy and the Eagles offensive system in general. Despite a shaky oline he's really helping make all of them shine. But Brady isn't just making his players "shine", he's literally making them.

If that doesn't make sense, I'll try another way of explaining... DJax and Maclin are burners so a QB that can buy time and has a huge arm is perfect for what they do best. But if you have to take a couple of pieces away, the entire team performance will go down a bit. In NE, a bunch of no names (I include Welker and Branch in this, related to what I'm saying) just need to run the right routes and Brady gets the ball there. Replacing the parts just requires guys to go where they're supposed to.

as far as the debate goes. I feel like this is who's better Emmitt Smith or Barry Sanders. The reason why is both qb depend on their line to make the passes while vick has to move around because of the issues with the right side. Brady can sit back and throw now also he's throwing shorter routes. i would like to know how many times Brady has been sacked since they started this streak. i would bet its under five. The biggest difference right now is teams are getting hits on Vick and people aren't really hitting Brady he may get pressured but he's not on his back like he was in the playoffs last year against Baltimore
