That's one reason why the 3rd seed doesn't mean anything. If a 1st round-bye was on the line then that's also another story.

It would mean everything if you made it to the AFC Championship Game as a #4 seed and had to face the #3 seed. While a long shot, you can't just accept the #4 seed like the #3 seed doesn't matter.

Tough loss. I cared more about going undefeated at home then the #3 seed. The Chiefs have improved a lot more then I was expecting tis year. Next year I think we will dominate the AFC west. I'm not expecting much next week in the playoff game, most likely one and done. We'll see.

In the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't. Not this season and not for KC given their potential opponents in the 1st round and having already clinched the division.

Dominate? huh? Even with Weis leaving? I guess they're just gonna go straight from 2-4 in the division to domination, lol. You guys must be planning on doing some amazing things this offseason.

I just read that the Raiders are probably going to let Cable go instead of exercising his option. What the hell is that dusty old velociraptor, Al Davis, thinking? I thought the Raiders have vastly improved under him.

Cable deserves two more years. If he and our core team comes back, we make the playoffs next year for sure. Al just doesn't want to pay a coach 2.5 mil. Al is ridiculous. I do hope we look for a franchise quarterback though. Campbell is just a stopgap.
