WTH? I swear I just read Rex's reasoning for Maybin staying on the roster and not being cut.

Also Bears sign Meriweather.

Wicked?

Definitely knew "tight" meant mad in certain context, and good in other contexts.

I've heard that slang makes its way down from the Northeast, so I'm usually a month or two behind.

Did not know tight meant mad. Man the South is just behind on the times

No one says wicked down here. No. One. They'd just look at you strange and tell you to get the F out of here with that nonsense

Down here, if you say God you better mean the man upstairs because white people take that **** personally. I'm dead serious.

We still say stupid/******** to mean good/ and or funny. Anyone still say "Sup" in New York? Or is it just Yo'?

Re: Post Lockout Offseason Moves/Trades Talk

lol if someone is tight they are mad.

if something is tight it is cool

is that clearer?

oh and the "son" is def true in urban NY. But I dont really use it since I've come up to SU.

And about Lance, seeing how he is the only one thinking he deserves the contract has changed my view about it.

No it's not because they have no correlation whatsoever, that's the thing I don't get about people up here

Guy I work with said this the other day:

"Man, if i don't cop those Foams(shoes), imma be tight"

I literally looked at him like

Translation: ***** what the **** did you just say? LOL
