No, its just when Peyton won the superbowl he had a defense to fall back on. That was the only year. I was making a point that the defense stepped up when they had to and put it all together. Peyton has been made to outscore opponents time after time and he can't do it anymore. That's why the Colts are not going to be Superbowl bound.

LOL the defense was one of the worst in the league, dead last in rush defense! They put it together for the playoffs just like any team who would have to win would need to, just like they could any other year in a run, and just as the Packers did last year. They certainly weren't "built" as a Super Bowl defense
