Alas the greatest formation in football. The victory formation.

Alualu looks much more improved. It seemed like he was always in the backfield. McCown looked sharp and I only noticed a couple of bad passes. The one play that I cannot stand is the quick pass to Mike Thomas. Dirk should at least spread that play out to every other series.

Definitely. Very pleased with what I see out of Tyson. I can believe Oehser when he says he's the lynchpin for the defense.

Woo, at least I got this one right (albeit I was way off on the score)

Re: Week 1: Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars

Titans offense looked more advanced in the preseason. So painfully vanilla. NFI what the hell they were doing out there - up until they got into the redzone late the Titans were just pass pass pass and Matt clearly hasn't got a feel for the team quite yet. Weird stuff. I know CJ is only just back but surely you gotta feed him the ball more than that - most of his big carries happen when he has otherwise been stuffed. The sum was an offense I think any team in the NFL could have shut out bar the freak 80y TD broken play.

Suppose it's not a huge shock given the Titans were without their two best DL, but as usual they like making backup levle QBs seem excellent, particularly on 3rd down. Overall though I guess the D did alright considering the injuries and the complete inability of the offense to stay on the field early. The defense made it a winnable game in the end, Matt's noodle arm just got the last say.
