For the guys that r having problems with button lag try this

I'm not one of them my s-controller works fine but i wanted to try the PS2 controller on my xbox with NFL2K3 let me tell u no lag what so ever and its great because i like the setup to use stiff arms are the L1 and R1 buttons(black&white xbox) i didn't like the black and white buttons on the s-controller for stiff arms the only gripe i have using the PS2controller the anolog stick is a little to far for my thumb u guys should give it a try or go get the x-connection

Hey rock - I "heard" that the only problem with this is that with the x-connection you loose the button sensitivity(i.e. - pressing hard for bullet passes, soft for lob, etc.). Is that true?

I don't think so i can remember throwing lobs and bullets but i will try again a see

No Glenn, no problems there. It's true that the buttons are no longer analog (which is why you don't have to press them as hard and why they seem more sensitive), but whether your quarterback throws a lob or bullet pass is determined by how long you hold down the buttons, not how hard you press them.
