I'm doing a franchise with the Chargers. I'm 2-6, things are not looking good. Then I realize I have to play the 8-0 Rams, and I'm like "WHY???????" anyway. So the game starts, and I absolutely shut down Faulk (on same sliders that Antwain Smith ran for 173 yds on me). in the first half.I have a 24-21 lead but they're driving under 2 min left in the game. They run with Faulk, stuffed. Pass to Holt, tackled before 1st down. Run with Faulk again, stuffed. So it's 4th down and 2 to go, and obviously they go for it. I call a goaline stack play. Faulk gets a toss outside and starts running, only to be gang tackled behind the line!!!!!! Then I just run the clock out. I BEAT THE UNDEFEATED RAMS!!!!! By the way, Faulk ended up with 108 yds rushing and 32 yds receiving, so it's not like he didn't do anything.

Great job.
I dont know what game your playing but i had the same kinda deal with Madden. I held E.James under 100 yards, but the next week Terrell Davis went for over 200 yards on me.

It's Madden. I only have a gamecube, so I can't get nfl2k until tomorrow.

Wow beating the Rams with the Bolts. That's awesome. I am not looking forward to playing the Rams when I get there in the schedule. Although the Chargers do have a pretty sweet run D. I am 2-1 so far in my Chargers franchise, beating the Bengals and Texans and losing to the Cards last night. Couldnt stop David Boston. And I lost Rodney Harrison for the year with a broken elbow.

NOOOOOOOO!!! Harrison's out??? Oh my god, I don't know if I could live. Can't tell you how many TD-saving tackles he's made for me in my franchise. I just beat the 49ers 21-0 to move to 4-6. I'm aiming for 6 or 7 wins, but I only play one more team with a losing record. Caldwell is having an awesome year though, he's up for rookie of the year!!

Another Charger fan here. Did you guys create Ben Leber for the Bolts? I did, then moved Edwards to the middle. The defense gets even better. Also use the 46 defense, having Rodney that close to the line of scrimmage just isn't fair. I also love using LT, but that o-line is so bad there isn't a lot of running room. Another thing, crank up Jenkins speed and acceleration to about 90, to me that's a little more in tune with how he is.

I lost him for the season with a broken elbow. David Boston shredded me last night by the way. 8 catches for 125 yds 2 scores.
