Week 10: Tennessee Titans (4-4) @ Carolina Panthers (2-6)

Might as well make a thread. The Panthers are coming off of a bye and Tennessee lost to Cincinnati last week.

Both defenses are similarly bad as they allow over 350 yards per game each. The Panthers scoring defense is a bit worse giving up almost 26 ppg to the Titans 21 ppg.

Offensively, the Panthers are better averaging 415 yards per game and 23 ppg to Tennessee's 310/19. Three former 1,000 yard rushers are featured in this game in Chris Johnson, DeAngelo Williams, and Jonathan Stewart, but none of the three are performing at those levels this year with DeAngelo and CJ battling for most disappointing RBs in the league.

I think the Panthers will win this game as their offense is simply better. However, it wouldn't surprise me for CJ to blow up for 150+ yards and multiple TDs.

Tennessee 21
Carolina 28

The Titans can't stop anything on defense. They were doing ok at least in the red zone and remain a good "big play preventing" defense, but I suspect Newton will match Dalton's effectiveness and put up good numbers. The Titans DL is possibly the worst in the NFL in getting pressure on the QB.

The sad part is, it wasn't too long ago we had a good DL that could cause trouble up front.

Our defense is a joke. Our only hope to win this game is if CJ can keep his rhythm going this week, then I think we have a chance. As of now though, 17-6 Panthers.

Theres losing to a rookie QB on a 6-2 team, and then theres losing to a rookie QB on a 2-6 team. Today, the Titans will know what both feel like.

I think Carolina wins, they've had a pretty tough schedule thus far and have preformed spectacular offensively in almost every game. I don't think Tennessee has the fire power on offense to match unless CJ finally decides to hit the holes instead of looking at them and then daydream about the big contract he just got.

Tennessee doesn't look like a team that sucks out here.

Still flying under-the-radar, I'm rooting for you Titans!
