That's all...and I'm not going further into it.
And moves like this is what separates teams like the Jets and Skins from the Giants and the Packers and Patriots and the Steelers and the Ravens of the NFL.

If you think about for the most part, FA is usually for the teams trying to go just from mediocre to above average. You don't really see your elite teams going crazy in FA every year like that.

So, instead of 1 big time WR, they get 3 WRs. The future of Moss and Gaffney are probably in doubt with Skins

Dude...please.just.stop.

Rivers #s last year puts him in the middle of the pack.

If Rivers' numbers last year leave him in the "elite" class...then you're just making stuff up.

Come on now.

Does Snyder remember that Grossman is his QB?

It does look like that's going to be the case (being in the gun) but if that's not the case and they run a mostly conventional offense than having all those WRs makes no sense at all.

Least you can say there's never a dull moment with the Redskins.

And you could say QBs are only as good as the WRs they're throwing to - see Jay Cutler. More or less, QBs and WRs compliment each other.

I think there were a couple times where Vincent Jackson looked like he didn't wanna be in SD anymore. So he probably wanted money + a change of scenery. Also, Josh Freeman is only 3 years in; he's had a Pro Bowl year and a pretty average year, in addition to a rookie year that went as expected. I think he's truly in between his "breakout year" and last year, and Vincent Jackson only makes him better - that means he could be due for a TRUE breakout year. If the Bucs decide to nab Trent Richardson (if possible) then it would make Freeman a lot better.

He was crap the whole year...horribly inconsistent at best.

I'm sure VJ doesn't mind the change. Him and his agent.
I'll take a QB whose worst year is a career year for the majority of QB's in the NFL.

I'm trying to figure out how one can be crap yet put up the number he did.

Basically a new WR group without a #1 WR. Moss and Gaffney most likely will be gone. If Royal can stay healthy, then Banks might be gone.
