Maybe because I've been a Steelers fan all my life...that's part of it but also I feel the 3-4 scheme is the best at stopping the run. If you have a good to great DT then it opens up a world of possiblity for the LBs. Plus the scheme offers so many differ looks. Its not accident that alot of teams use 3-4. However the downside is that its not against the pass.

3-4. I love the versatility that it offers. It's no coincidence that since the rules have changed, more teams have been moving to it. I believe at the beginning of the 2000 season, just a handful of teams used it. Now it's about 50/50.

I like the 3-4 better especially when you have DeMarcus Ware or an Aldon Smith off the edge getting pressure on the QB
