but I think the Niners win 45-42 thats reasonable IMO
I would be very shocked if the score was that high.

Only way niners can win this game is if alex smith has a perfect game. The packers will spread the field so the niners will have no choice to not load the box or else.

Re: Week 1: San Francisco 49ers @ Green Bay Packers

If the Moss brings his A-game and Vernon Davis gets about 4 or 5 catches then the niners have a chance. Green Bay does not lose alot of openers at home but this one will be close. 'Varro Bowman and Pat Willis are gonna make it hard for GB to run the ball so GB's game will be one-dimensional. Both teams have great defenses so this may be a low scoring game... like 20-17 49ers

Both teams have solid linebacking corps and good corners. Plus justin smith is a monster for the 49ers..ok, maybe I was wrong. They both have good but not great defenses. The two teams are almost equal on defense.

Pwi dont think you understand........hes confused cause you are calling the packer's d, stats wise the worst defense ever, is equal to the great d of the niners.
