I think it's fair to say these replacement refs aren't cutting it. At first it seemed like the players and coaches weren't giving these guys a chance to get themselves acclimated but now that we're seeing some of the worst officiating in a pro league i've seen in my life well.............It's time to make a deal with the real refs or this season will be viewed as a joke forever.

First off, I have already made it clear that I don't think it was a catch. But, the person that reviewed the play wasn't a replacement but a full time NFL official.

But I was unclear about whether he could have ruled it an interception or not.

This. A ton of people around the web claiming PI is let go all the time on last second hail mary plays. This is true, but this wasn't just a subtle push.

The guy pretty much shoved Sam Shields out of the end zone.
