Week 10 Dallas Cowboys (3-5) vs Philadelphia Eagles (3-5)

Ehh, this is the season, whatever is left of it.

Both teams are 3-5 however Philly has looked miserable where Dallas is in these games, for the most part.

Still, the way Dallas' season always is, Philly wins.

I can see it now, falling to 3-6 then somehow ending up 8-8 and missing a WC spot by a game, story of the Cowboys.

So Orie Lemon just hurts his hammy and we IR him..
Yet we let Matt Johnson sit on the bench with a Hammy
injury since the Preseason???

We should have IR'd that wasted pick in the preseason.
I am sure Lemon would have only missed a few weeks..

I doubt Matt Johnson ever plays this year.. Greatest GM
EVER!!!!

Eagles are a type of offense that kills Rob Ryans scheme.
We can not contain scrambling QB's. We are built for
pocket type passers. Philly's offense will hit us with a lot
of big plays, especially Vick. I see him running a lot..

As bad as Philly has played, they can still pass rush..
We will not be able to keep them honest with our run
game.

Teams with Mobile QB's will always tear us up.

I see us staying on par with the season.. We are due
for a turnover riddled first quarter.. And if we somehow
survive that and keep it close.. We will lose it in the 4th..

Looking forward to this game, but only b/c both teams find themselves in similar situations: high expectations going into the season only to disappoint and now questions surround both QBs and both coaches. It's going to make for great drama.

I don't want to be that fan, but I sort of want to see the Cowboys lose just to see the impact of it all. Jerry Jones is doing his best to play it cool, and endorse Garrett. But if he continues to look incompetent in his game mgmt, that can't continue to be ignored.

Been down this road before. A must win game + home field= a loss for Dallas.

It would have to be a game like the one we lost to Philly 44 to 3
for Jerry to start thinking change..

I don't know, we did a decent enough job against Cam Newton to where he didn't end up hurting us too bad on the ground. If Bruce Carter has eyes on Vick all game we might be ok. We should fare much better defensively this year with our upgrades at corner so I think it'll come down to who's QB stays on his feet and turns the ball over the least.

I can see us doing what you said, but Cam is different match
up from Vick. Not enough weapons. Cam had 60 yards rushing
in the first half..That was a game we easily could have lost too..

Ryan got torched in our two games with Philly last year. Then this
year Wilson scrambled all over us. He did not have a lot of yards
but he extended a lot of plays..Picked up a few first downs with his
feet..It gave me a bad vibe about facing RG3 and Vick..

I guess we will see..
