No, I recall pretty clearly, and I'm sure the Packers defense does too, which was without Clay Matthews at the time.

The Packers D respect AD, but they don't want the record to fall on them based on the article I read this morning.

Tomorrow is a Big day for CJ Wilson. would be a huge loss if he is not able to go. Peterson did most of his damage against the base defense versus GB.

Having Clay and Wilson would be huge on Sunday.

My guess:

AP gets 35 carries for around 210, breaks the record, but the Vikings can't pull it out.

31-24, Pack win.

Pride and proving people wrong is a very big deal to the Packers, with Rodgers leading that category.

I hope some of ya'll don't think that they're going to just let AP run wild and get that record. Aside from playing for a 1st round bye, that right there is enough motivation for them since they don't want to be the known as the team that AP broke the record on.

I will say this though: There is a reason why Mike McCarthy has won 12 straight division games. Keep that in mind.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

35 carries?

You're giving Bill Musgrave too much credit.

..and also, that's what she said.

Honestly I can see a number of things that could happen this game.

1. Peterson could run for 200 but the Vikings still lose
2. Peterson gets held <100 an Vikings Lose
3. Small chance Ponder plays well and peterson runs well and Vikings win.

Any number of possibilities can happen in this game. Have no clue what to expect at all. Should be exciting.

Let's go boys. Biggest game since Favre threw across his body.
