All anyone needs to do to see the difference Brian Cushing makes is watch games from last year compared to ones from this season. Hell, just go back to games he played in this season.
No, he's not the only reason why we suffered in the second half of the year, but he's about as close to irreplaceable as you can get. Especially with what Wade Phillips does. It INFURIATES me that he was taken out on a dirty play.
