This seems like a good time and place to throw around phrases like "reigning champs" and "back to defend their title" and "Steelers suck".

Redskins place DE Adam Carriker, OL Maurice Hurt and CB Josh Wilson on the active PUP list. The released safeties Jordan Bernstine and Devin Holland. Bernstine was a rookie last year who suffered a nasty broken leg covering a kick week 1.

If the Skins D can stay relatively healthy they are going to be a HUGE shock imo. Should be night and day from last year if they can just stay on the field. They could use a healthy Wilson though.

I'm listening to Broncos players being interviewed on the radio after their morning session practice. Fox says Miller will take first team snaps as usual, nothing out of the norm.

Also read on the ticker this morning that his appeal will be heard sometime in the middle of August (haven't tried to find it anywhere online to confirm).
