I highly doubt any team would deal for Fred knowing he will be a FA at the end of the year. Even when we were shopping him this off season, I think only Cleveland was interested.

Today's was kind of fun to watch. Redskins aren't usually in this types of games, we would match teams score for score then we would stall out and the other team would take the game. To Win a shoot out like that, was fun. Are there glaring issues with the defense, heck yea, but I rather we win and try to fix these issues, than a lost.

Just want to repeat, Merriweather needs to be out of the league... not just off the team but out of the league. He's a danger to everyone on the field including his teammates and himself.

Couldn't hurt to call Green Bay and offer him for a 5th or 6th right?

Not sure if TT would trade away any draft choices.

Cobb and Jones out, bring up practice squad players.

We don't know the extent of Finley's injury, but so far, nothing serious, report out there says he will be fine, xrays all negative.

Plus, usually it's next guy up with the Packers. Packers are pretty deep at TE with Quarles, Bostic, Taylor and Stonebrunner.

I suppose they could trade Davis elsewhere, but I doubt if the Packers would answer the phone call.
