In two weeks, KC is going to go into Denver as a 9-0 team and they will be the first 9-0 team to be double digit underdogs.

Re: Week 9: Kansas City Chiefs (8-0) @ Buffalo Bills (3-5)

Thank you to the mod who added the week 9 to the title. I thought the thread title felt a bit empty.

Also, I don't think this game will be a blowout loss by any means. Buffalo will be in this game to the end just like every other game baring last week and even then the score misrepresented how the Bills played. If their is one thing that can be said about this Bills team, it's that they play hard and play to win every week for 60 minutes. I know that seems like a cliche thing to say but I do feel that a quite some teams in this league that found themselves in some of the positions this Bills team has been in this season, they would have phoned it in.

I wouldn't bet on that just yet. But it also wouldn't be that surprising if a 9-0 team on the road was a 10+ point underdog to an 8-1 team that has the potential to be the first 600 point offense in history (still close to a 700-point pace but that won't last). The way Denver has looked the past few weeks and with KC's defense, Denver being only favored by 9.5 or less would not shock me either, though. And with KC getting the bye? Who knows.

As for this game, Buffalo will do no better than keep it close, but given that is how KC wins, not a problem for them.

The Bills have yet to be really blown out and they've played better teams than KC. That said, our QB situation this week is beyond pathetic so...

Jeff Tuel will be getting the start. Go Bills.

I had to look up who Jeff Tuel is. Never heard of the guy.

Alex Smith and Dwayne Bowe need to show some signs of life. As others have pointed out, the teams they will be facing after this week have legitimate offenses, and you can't count on the defense to hold every team to 13 points.
