Re: Week 11: Vikings @ Seahawks

Well that was an interesting flip to Lynch for the TD.

I am indescribably happy to have Wilson as our QB.

DT Clinton McDonald with a pick and fumble recovery today. My University of Memphis buddy must be proud.

Re: Week 11: Vikings @ Seahawks

A few thoughts from this game and heading into the bye:

- Percy only played around 20 snaps but his impact was already evident. His speed and presence in the slot opens up opportunities for Baldwin/Tate on the outside, and can help prevent teams from stacking the box against Marshawn.

- That kick return too...whoo! The stadium was electric when we saw him lined up for that return. Then when he burst through the hole, the place went nuts. Percy on kickoffs and Golden Tate on punt returns is a pretty solid special teams combo.

- Amazing what Russell Wilson can do when given something that actually resembles a pocket and isn't running for his life 2 seconds into his drop. The guy is absolutely money and ruthlessly efficient. I was a little bit afraid of the sophomore slump from him, but that absolutely is not the case. He's on pace to improve on just about every stat from last year, he continues to come up big in clutch situations and makes big time throws. And doing all that missing the 3 best offensive linemen for the majority of the season so far. Can't wait to see how he continues to progress the rest of the season. As Dan said...indescribably happy to have Wilson as our QB.

- So glad Michael Robinson is back. The running game is a lot different with him at fullback than it is with Derrick Coleman. He's Beast Mode's eyes.

- Not sure if the bye week is coming at a good time or bad. Feels like the team is starting to really click in all phases and is FINALLY getting healthy. And Pete hasn't exactly been spectacular coming off bye weeks. Cannot wait for that Saints game on Dec 2. It's going to be a crazy atmosphere.

Re: Week 11: Vikings @ Seahawks

Nice post, thai...and I agree with everything you said.

As to the BYE....I have been a Seahawks fan long enough to share your unease about losing momentum. But we REALLY needed to rest our guys up...and the extra time for everyone to study up for the Saints will profit us on that Monday night matchup.

I have no concerns about the team being up for that game. MNF is so easy for a team to get up for in the first place, PLUS it's a home game, PLUS it's a pivotal game for HFA, PLUS the Saints are really tough and we get up for tough teams, PLUS we're finally relatively healthy again (yeah, I knocked already).

Diagnosis is good for the BYE, bro.

GO 'HAWKS.
