7 or 8 wins, okay. I think that was probably the preseason expectation anyway, with a chance of a bump up (that chance is still there btw... defense and running game means they can beat anybody on a given day). I think it'd be more of a shock if they end up 4-12 and "a lock for the #3 pick in the draft."

Not going to predict 8-8 or anything, but they should be much closer to that than 4-12, lol.
I have to agree with you. I think the Texans will go 6-10. I wasn't being fair. I guess I'm just mad that the Texans are not playing up to their potential this season. Talent wise they're a playoff team. With that record, I'm sure they can grab a decent starter. Todd Gurley comes to mind. Then, they can address their DT depth in the 2nd or 3rd RD.

I don't think all hope is lost though. I don't think you can blame one thing but Foster's fumble was a pivotal moment bc he's one of the rocks they should be able to lead on (when healthy). He doesn't fumble there and they may even win this game. And I can see them being in similar situations every week. This could still be a playoff team.

"In the Texans' four losses, they've played a total of 247:15 of football (including overtime in the Cowboys game.) They've given up a total of 113 points in those four games. As you can see from the stats above, 92 of those 113 points came in a cumulative span of 40:05. It takes a special kind of football masochism to give up 81 percent of your points allowed in 16 percent of the game time. It takes everybody simultaneously letting go of the rope at the same time, everybody pulling in the absolute wrong direction.

It takes Bizarro Complementary Football. And the Texans are the best at it."
