it seems that way on paper but if Vick makes a few connections with Harvin/Decker and their talented pass-rush shows up, who knows? Steelers fans know better than to count any game as a lock and this is no different...There's nothing more dangerous than a desperate man with nothing to lose

I'm cautiously optimistic now really. I realize the team has looked really good the past few games but this is nothing new for the Steelers teams of the Tomlin era.

If I was a conspiracy theorist I would say that I believe Hailey has been removed from playcalling duties and is just standing there as a figure head.

Saw this defeat coming. I just don't get the Ravens Offense. They just don't seem to make adjustments and they seem to always disappear in big games when they make one or two mistakes. With all the time that was left in that game there is no way a good offense just disappears, doesn't make adjustments. They have some stuff going on that just doesn't make too much sense.

Defensively we played terribly after midway 2nd qtr. But there was some ticky tacky stuff going on too. For instance, let's see, this is worse than Steve Smith vs Iloka a week earlier but it doesn't get called

I don't get into refs too much because even without these calls we still lose the game, but there is some tomfoolery to these kinda calls that you make against our WR the week before but don't make one that looks much worse and then throw a flag on Web for not really making much contact at all and getting beat in coverage? I just don't know what to make of that.


Either way, Jimmy Smith is done for the season, open season on Ravens secondary. The Safety play by Elam and Stewart has been really horrible. Hill has been named the permanent starter so I hope that helps.
