Week 11: Seattle Seahawks (6-3) @ Kansas City Chiefs (6-3)

I don't do many of these because I usually want to put a little more effort into the OP, and then end up never getting around to it. This isn't as nice as I want it, but thought I'd start it anyways

Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri

Super Bowl champions have a poor history coming to Arrowhead, as teams like an undefeated Green Bay have walked away with their first notch in the loss column. Many seem to be predicting this will continue as the defending champions come to Arrowhead Sunday morning.

The inconsistent Seahawks have won 3 in a row coming off of a win over the struggling Giants, while the Chiefs are coming off of a close win in Buffalo and a 4 game streak of their own.

I'm done picking against the Chiefs this season as they win games they normally wouldn't (@ SD, @ BUF), but am not getting my hopes up. I think this is the close game everyone's expecting and it will come down to whomever makes the least mistakes in the 4th. Sustained drives and running games by both teams will keep it a low scoring affair... 21-17 Kansas City with plenty of wear and tear on the nails of each sides' fans.

Chiefs then play Thursday in Oakland and then the following in Denver on Sunday Night Football.

Seattle will play Arizona next week followed by a Thursday night matchup with the 49ers.

Looks like a pretty damn good opening post to me.

I'm actually flying out later this afternoon to KC. Really excited and looking forward to checking out Arrowhead. Can't wait to freeze my *** off on Sunday.

I'm rooting for the Chiefs. The more losses the Seahawks get the better.

Is KC just the spot to go check out a road game for your team at? My friend went there and watched his Patriots get pasted. Said Arrowhead/KC was great though.

I had a friend who moved down there for work a couple years back, so it made sense to go to this game. He quit his job and moved back after we already bought all the tickets, so might as well go. Hopefully I get to see a win though. Otherwise I should've just gone to the chargers game.

I'm going to this game as well. Ready to see what arrowhead is all about. Should be a great defensive game.

I've been there once. It was amazing. My wife showed up at work on Friday morning before the game surprising me with the trip and tickets (we live in Vegas). Arranged time off with my boss, we were in KC until Monday night... oh and they won. Don't know how her and others managed to keep the secret for several months.
