Conversely, Green Bay scares me ****less because they have the best player in football under center for them and Seattle today is a much different team than Seattle in October.

There aren't going to be any easy outs for any team in these playoffs, and I don't know that there's really going to be a running-away favorite. IMO whoever gets to the Super Bowl this year out of the NFC will most certainly have earned it.

If Cowboys, Seahawks and Packers all win next week, Dallas is #3?

Of course, Seattle needs to win today as well.

The Colts are a very good team. They just ran into a buzz saw today. I take nothing away from Indy. Dallas beat up on an excellent team today. Given all the factors this was easy to see coming. The only surprise for me was the Colts only scoring 7 points. They could have taken a time out at the end but they chose not to. All the injuries and poor execution caught up with them today. I knew they would get blown out but not by that much. The Colts will bounce back, I'm counting on it. Thats the thing with games like this, public perception often is not the reality. Everybody was so worried about Murray.(As if it mattered). As for having a bad game, all NFL teams go through that. Its just a matter of timing and predicting when it will happen next.

till next time

Colts wins: Jags, Titans, Ravens, Texans, Bengals, Giants, Jaguars, Redskins, Browns, Texans.

Colts losses: Broncos, Eagles, Steelers (by 17), Patriots (by 22), Cowboys (by 35).

They're good enough to beat the teams they're supposed to beat, but not nearly good enough to be a contender for anything.

Its not just cowboys games, its the NFL.

See the Eagles, Niners, Jags, Sea, Was, Saints, Giants, Cleveland.... All these teams have their over hyped stories and ridiculous overreactions. Its just magnified for Dallas b/c the fans rep them everywhere they go win or lose for or against.

That's true, it also has a lot to do with Dallas simply having more fans than most teams.

If the wins and losses break down similarly next season than one has to wonder if Pegano (as great a guy as he is) may not be just one of those coaches that can get a team to a certain level but not over the hump. Knowing how loyal Colts ownership are I think Pegano has great job security but if this trend continues through the years he's going to gain a similar tag as Dungy did until he won one with Manning.

I honestly don't think Pagano is that great. He's okay, nothing more and nothing less. It was obvious Arians is a superior coach when he was the interim hc in Indy.
