Week 5: Seattle Seahawks (2-2) @ Cincinnati Bengals (4-0)

This is the big test, though I'm sure most people still won't believe in the Bengals until they do something in January, which is fine.

Some Bengals fans are driving me crazy. If you're familiar with reddit, I got downvoted like crazy on the Bengals subreddit because I said we need to worry about our defense. Alex f'n Smith threw for just under 400 yards against us and it's the second week in a row that a WR has lit us up. Their counter is "our defense is fine because it doesn't give up points". While true, I hardly consider the Chiefs or any team we've faced though far an elite offensive team, nor have we faced an elite defensive team. Bengals are ranked 20th in total yards given up on defense, 10th in points. I'm sorry but the whole "bend don't break" defense worries me when it comes to playing elite teams, and other Bengals fans don't seem to understand that. What are everyone's thoughts?

My prediction: Bengals 24, Seahawks 20

Short week, 10 AM Pacific start, on the road, with a center that can't snap the ball accurately, a hilariously bad o-line, against a team that's 4-0 and looking really good. I'd say the odds are pretty stacked against the hawks in this one.

Bengals 21 Seahawks 17

Bengals DL is going to have a field day on the Seahawks OL, I do question if they will be able to actually contain Wilson though when they get pressure. Linebackers are not great and the secondary is leaking, especially if Iloka isn't healthy.

Green/Eifert/Jones/Sanu versus the Seahawks secondary should be fun to watch.

Excited to see the Cincy Offense against our defense. Giving up just 3 points in 2 NFL games is crazy

You are counting the Jimmy Clausen led Bears as an "NFL Team"?

The Bengals start out hot every year and collapse yes, but something tells me this year is different.

I my self am no Bengals fan by any means but they eventually are gonna start being for real and this might be their statement game, going with the Bengals in this one.

We'll be alright. Won't predict a score, tho.

The offensive line has GOT to be better.
