Absolutely loved what I saw out of Stafford in that game and on that final drive especially. Knew the game situation, knew what he wanted out of his players and was not in any way hesitant to let his players know that they ****ed up. I loved that.

Props to the Colts for blowing that gift win.

That was a different Stafford than the one I've been watching for his whole career up to this point.

I was channel surfing and I saw the moment when the Lions were knocking on the door for a score and wanted to go hurry up and one of the officials basically stopped them from doing so which prompted Stafford to go off on the officials and demand to know why that happened.

That's something I think the Stafford that we've seen throughout his career would not have done. I really think Megatron no longer being there might be an addition by subtraction in some respects. It's allowed Stafford to become a real team leader.

I thought it was over after Indy went up 1 point. Stafford looked in control all day.

Yeah, he also showed some real fire leading that game winning drive. I like it.

I didn't think that second half of 2015 was a fluke, and the offense did their job again. Riddick and Abdullah, neither can carry a team, but wow are they dynamic as a pair. I have a real soft spot for Riddick, and his extension means the Lions do too.

Austin sure up that defense and I can see the Lions making things interesting in the North and NFC. Luck's Colts wasn't a bad test.

I hop this was a sign of more to come from Stafford. I agree that losing Calvin might be a weird roundabout way of putting more responsibility on other players to step it up. Calvin ain't coming back, so they gotta do their job. And they did today.
