I don't think anyone is discounting Atlanta's chance to win the game? If you're in the Superbowl, you obviously have the ability to win that game.

That being said, that Texans game vs the pats was not close, at all. I don't have any clue how you could even suggest that. We absolutely demolished them, as we should have. We then demolished the Steelers who have a high octane offense. Don't try and play there injury card. Every single team has them this time of year. Bell wasn't doing a thing before he got hurt, and he didn't do a thing earlier this year vs us, so I don't see how anyone can say he would have had a good game.

We haven't allowed a 90yd rusher in the last 12 games I believe the stat is. In fact, neither Bell nor Johnson got to that mark; the two best running backs in the game.

I don't think you're going to see us try and absolutely take Julio out of the game. I feel like they're going to mix up what they're doing in the secondary and try to trick Ryan into throwing at him when he isn't as open as it seems. The Patriots have one of the better cb tandems in the league with Ryan finally playing to where he should be.

The pats beat the Texans 34-16.

First day of week two and I am already burnt out on Super Bowl coverage. Two weeks of talking about the same two teams is a bit much for me.

Didn't Bell get hurt and miss the last 3 quarters of the game?

Pats have one of the top run defenses in the league. Bell getting hurt doesn't change that.

For the last 5 years at least, i've learned to pick and choose what I watch and read. That way, while I will start to get burn out it doesn't happen until late in the 2nd week. I wish they'd have kept the HOF announcement separate from the awards show. That deserves its own focus rather than being wedged into an awards show and there's very little actual substantive talk about the HOFers.

They played earlier this year. Held him to 81 yards on 17 carries.
