Which is why the Redskins are playing with fire with their "negotiations" with Cousins. Honestly, I don't think Cousins is worth that kind of contract but you know damn well he and his agent are fishing around for that kind of money. It's going to take one of these big ticket QBs completely busting after signing their deals before teams start to pull back on some of these contracts.

The #Browns have traded OL Cam Erving to the #Chiefs for a 2018 fifth round pick.

Danny Shelton is the only Browns 1st round pick left on the roster from the 2009-2015 @NFL Drafts.

That's already happened and it still hasn't stopped teams from spending money on QBs.

Not that these big name QBs will ever hit the open market, because it'll never happen as long as they are healthy and good.
