They weren't being over dramatic though. Steelers fans were modifying Antonio Brown jerseys to read BROWNS, etc.

All right fine, never in a million years would I have thought the Steelers needed the Ravens to lose in order to make the playoffs.

Time to move on

Re: Week 17 Discussion Thread

A guy had a Steelers jersey on and a Browns pope hat.

The local news folks were wearing Browns shirts in the morning lol.

(Keeping in mind there are actually a lot of Browns fans that live in Pittsburgh, they've just never had anything to get excited about)

Re: Week 17 Discussion Thread

Lot of other fans would be doing the same thing if they were relying on their main rival to win so they can make the playoffs.

So if GB needed the Bears to beat Seattle so I can continue to watch my team play football for another week, best believe I’ll be singing “Bear Down” until that clock hits zero and we’re in the playoffs. This is only if it was the ONLY way to make the playoffs at that point in the season.

Exactly, nothing surprising about it. Then factor in the Ravens-Steelers rivalry and I really don’t see the hoopla over it.

I think your attempt to try and minimize it is the only over dramatic thing I've seen about it.

Lol tell me what is so unthinkable or far fetched about it?

Go ask a Steeler fan to list their 3 biggest rivals. Pretty sure they will say Ravens, Bengals, and Patriots in no particular order. Doubt too many will say Browns are public enemy number one.

Edit: hey I’m not saying it’s over dramatic because it’s not exciting week 17 football. It absolutely is. I loved it. It’s over dramatic because the Steelers don’t hate the Browns that much. No one does, it’s the Browns lol.

Steelers fans HATE the Browns. If they were good, it would be the number one rivalry...

The mood in this town after they tied the Browns in week one was the worst I'd ever seen it.

They pretty much could care less about the Bengals.
