Re: Week 14 Discussion Thread

Cowboys DL gives me Giants 06/07 vibes. If they can stay healthy the rest of the year, they will give QBs fits.

Dak is definitely off. Since that calf injury in NE, he has been nowhere near the same player.

Re: Week 14 Discussion Thread

The score was 29-20 in Carolina. After a TD, the Panthers were going to go for a two-point conversion. The announcers were confused and rather upset over the fact.

Why? The best argument that I hear is "You can always go for two on the next touchdown." Why not now, and then your next attempt can either be for a tie or win? This isn't a discussion about going for the field goal now and touchdown later or keep chewing time and trying to score. Eventually you have to go for 2 after a TD. If you fail now, you lose just as much as if you failed later.

I don't get it. Anyway, they ended up calling a timeout and kicking the extra point.

If you miss the 2 point down by 9 you’re taking a ton of pressure off the other team for the rest of the game since they only have to defend a two score game instead of a one score game
