I would enjoy the 7 seed better if they didn’t make a MNF playoff game and just left the triple headers alone.

That could lead to a hilarious scenario. Team #3 locked into the third seed could be playing a 9-7 team that would be the #7 if they won. Team #3 would have an incentive to throw the game, because it would cancel the 2nd seed's bye week.
