I'm picking the Rams to win but not because of anything relating to win streaks. On paper they are the far better team. But proving that by being the better team on the field is what they have struggled with. I'm thinking they'll put it together this weekend.
I agree. Carolina lost 3 times (of their 6 total losses) to the Saints in 2017.

According to an ESPN article from last year:

Quote:
I don't buy the old adage that "it's tough to beat a team three times," because since 1970 teams that beat a team twice in the regular season and saw them again in the playoffs are 14-7 in the rematch.
This quote was in reference to the Bucs/Saints game last year in the playoffs. The Bucs obviously won that so make it 14-8 now.

I'm going with the home team in this one. I'll let you decide who the home team actually is.

Saw a headline that said based on ticket resells its a safe bet that 49er fans will be taking over again.

If at any point crowd noise becomes a factor when the Rams have the ball in a home CCG that will be very embarrassing.

They tried to block ticket sales. You had to prove all this stuff before purchasing. They removed 24-48 hours later. But agree. I think the crowd will be one sided.

I guess it's embarassing, but it's not like they are being overrun by Jaguars fans or something. The 49ers are the longest tenured pro football team in California. And crucially, the only one that's never moved.

Re: NFC Championship - (4)Los Angeles Rams vs. (6)San Francisco 49ers

Trying to block ticket sales or limit them to only SoCal residents was never going to work.

The Niners run Cali and while the Rams have been successful since they came back, I’m guessing it’s going to take another SB or 2 before they can regain most of the territory that SF already has in LA.

But **** Football, I’m still pissed over last week. Hope both these teams play 8 OTs and the final score is like 2-0 or some ****.
