Head over to IGN to check it out. The game looks good, the intro is a lot better before games. I like the new analog-stick control feature.

I like the new analog stick feature, but man, otherwise, this looks like the same game as the last 3 versions (minus the longer intros). When is EA going to shake things up a little bit with this franchise?

I really hope NHL2k3 brings a lot more to the table.

They bought Black Box Games a few months ago, so I assume next years version will see a major change thanks to them. I bet Black Box will also work for EA Big on Rock The Rink 2.

This game doesn't like a big difference from NHL 2002 but EA Sports liked that game and it sold a ton of copies. Personally Ilike NHL 2k3 by SEGA because it looks like a more realistic kidn of hockey.

Where did you see the intros? Is it one of the Insider videos?

There was a small snipit where the camera changed during a breakaway and all you could here was a heartbeat, then the guy got checked, that looked AWESOME!

It looks like there will be custom soundtrack too, COOL.

It showed the Av's vs the Sharks intro. It showed the Sharks in the dressing room tieing up their skates, then it shifted to the a bunch of fans in the crows who stood up and cheered as the lights went dim, the sharks got up and ran out of the dressing room then it would stop on a player and cut to a previous game and show a big play he made, then go back to them running and do it to another. Nabakov, Damphousse and Nolan I think were the ones for San Jose. Then they ran on the ice and did some warm up.

Really cool intro.
