My friend Matt thinks Toews is a better choice for the Calder right now than Kane. I think Kane is more the playmaker of the two and deserves it even if Toews has more points. What does everyone else think?

That's a very tough call at this point in the season. Between the two of them, I think I'd have to wait until later in the year to choose. You wonder if the long season affects a smaller guy like Kane more as the year presses on.

I think Kane has to get it right now, Kane has more points than Toews.

Toews is the more physical player so he might see more end of the year drag. I just hope these guys can stay healthy for a long time. Unlike Marty Havlat...

Marty Havlat...man, if that guy could ever play even 65-70 games in a year, he could put up massive numbers.

Curious what everyone thinks will happen with Havlat at the end of the year, hes a free agent IIRC, do we resign him or let him walk? He's extremely talented but so injury prone I'm not sure hes worth it.
