Eastern Conference

I realize I'll probably be completely wrong on these predictions but this is to make things fun.

Capitals over Canadiens in 6
Devils over Flyers in 7
Bruins over Sabres in 6
Penguins over Senators in 6

Sharks over Avalanche in 5
Predators over Blackhawks in 7
Canucks over Kings in 6
Red Wings over Coyotes in 7

The Kings are a perfectly legit upset pick, I just don't like Burnside's rationale.

Personally, I think the absence of Willie Mitchell is a killer blow to any long playoff run for Vancouver. But do I think their offensive depth (six 25-goal scorers) will be good enough against Quick/Ersberg/Bernier, even if Luongo has some shaky moments? Probably.

I think the Kings can beat Van. I really think any team can win in the West. I can even see Nash beating the Hawks.
