I'm not that versed in Russian hockey history, but I thought Dynamo was a pretty storied franchise.
I wonder if other KHL teams aren't far behind?

Ovechkin called Dynamo the Montreal Canadiens but I would say Toronto Maple Leafs. CSKA is Montreal.

KHL could stand to lose some dead weight. Always rumors Vityaz Chekhov might fold (Chris Simon plays there and Alexei Zhamnov is GM). New teams are entering the league though. Next season should see a team based in Kiev.

Some expert's from Finland said that the owners of the teams that are in KHL have alot of money but if their bussines doesn't work out as they had thought, they don't give money anymore and this happens. (And they said when KHL started)
