I was going to mention this, I think this is a great hire. Davidson did a pretty good job of stabilizing and bringing credibility to a staggering Blues franchise. I think he's got a lot more work ahead of him with the Blue Jackets though.

I wish him well as he's one of my favorite hockey people around.

Re: The Official NHL 2012 Off-Season Thread

Just rewatched the Kings championship dvd last night. Definitely making me miss hockey, but at the same time I can look at the bright side, until there is a season the Kings are still the reigning Stanley Cup Champs.

Stupid question: have teams been allowed to make any moves during this time?

No, teams aren't allowed to make moves while locked out. Not a stupid question by any means.

Riley Sheahan isn't just a super prospect for the Detroit Red Wings' organization -- he also faces a "super-drunk" charge after his arrest for drunken driving in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The 20-year-old Grand Rapids Griffins player was pulled over by police on Oct. 29 after driving down the wrong side of the road clad in a purple Teletubbies costume, a character also known to TV fans and small children of the '90s as "Tinky Winky."

.......................just glad he didn't kill anyone but Teletubbies? He was also driving with Brendan Smith's license.

Here's the picture, video is on Yahoo as well.
