Because we have no strikers. It’s by far our weakest position

Re: MLS Discussion Thread

Sounders play Pumas tonight in a "winner takes all" CONCAFAC Champions League game. If Seattle wins, they will be the first team in MLS to win this competition.

68,000 people are expected to watch the game. First leg was a 2-2 game that featured 3 penalties and was relatively even.

The city is very excited about this, and I am too. Unfortunately, I can only watch the first half, but I hope it goes well.

Congratulations to them on finally getting it done for MLS. First team to win it since they changed formats in 2008. Long time coming.

Considering all that Seattle has accomplished, they're got to be considered the best franchise in the league.

Meanwhile, my Toronto FC keeps losing to Cincinnati. We look horrible even in our wins. Lorenzo Insigne can't come quick enough to give us some hope

Re: MLS Discussion Thread

One of my friends was at the game and was sending pictures. Looked like a fun time. He was kind of near the away supporters and said they sang for the entire 90 mins.

Re: MLS Discussion Thread

Is this actually happening?

Messi to Miami in 2023, and he'll also get a 35% stake in the team.

Re: MLS Discussion Thread

Toronto FC has allowed a goal in 28 consecutive league matches. Talk about ugly. How is that even possible?

Re: MLS Discussion Thread

We're actually had a clean sheet and ended a 12-month streak of not winning on the road since I last posted. Shouldn't have been as close as 4-3 in Nashville but apparently we can't defend a corner kick.

Both the Italians scored but getting Richie Laryea back on a loan from Nottingham Forrest is immense. First game back and he had beautiful assist and drew a penalty.

Hopefully, we can keep it going.

Re: MLS Discussion Thread

And a 4-0 loss to Philadelphia on Decision Day ends the season although we made the decision to avoid the playoffs a long time ago.

Doubt Bradley will be back as manager after we gave up a ridiculous 66 goals.

Just a brutal season.
